The Plain Dealer has endorsed Judge Lucci in the Republican race for the Court of Appeals, stating that “Lucci, 55, is the more credible candidate” and “certainly can do the job,” with his experience as a trial court judge, and his private law practice and police service. The Lake County Bar Association has endorsed Lucci as “highly recommended,” Lucci receiving the highest number of affirmative votes of all candidates rated for Court of Appeals and Supreme Court. Lucci’s opponent is deemed “not recommended.”
